The concept was born in 2013 at around 35,000 feet somewhere over the dark Texas terrain. Father and son team, John & Garrett Schmitt, were returning on a flight from Phoenix, AZ where they had exhibited at a conference with the intention of connecting with accountable care organizations to promote consulting services. Being a small firm, their budget was limited and the ROI of their investment of both time and money in this particular show was questionable at best. But exposure was important, and they were frustrated by the lack of alternatives to reach the value based market. They concluded that there simply had to be a better way in this digital age to reach ACO executives without the tremendous expense of attending extravagant conferences. Their vision became a reality with a little side-project called ACOExhibitHall.com. Fast forward to today and ACOExhibitHall.com has become an invaluable nationwide resource & educational hub for ACOs, IPAs, etc. seeking information and vendor solutions, as well as a cost effective avenue for organizations to promote their products and services to the ACO community.
